I’m Terence (78), my pals call me Terry, and I live in rural Scotland. Most days involve dogs, horses, and horseboxes, with occasional bouts of wrestling technology that thinks it knows better than me.
I’ve spent my life in international business living in various countries, and now I write — not because I think the world needs more words, but because it helps me make sense of the years behind me, and maybe the world in front of me.
I write about what makes me laugh, what makes me think, and what I’ve lived — the rest will just have to take care of itself.
You’ll find no polished autobiography here. What I share are pieces — lessons learned, stories remembered, reflections on age, and the odd rant about modern absurdities. Taken together, I hope they give some picture of a life lived with curiosity, mistakes, perseverance, and laughter.
This blog isn’t just for today. It’s for anyone who wanders by later — family, friends, or strangers — who might want to know what the world looks like from my side of the goldfish bowl.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. That’s all any writer can ask.
